(Not your typical) Photo Contest!

What’s not typical about it?

You, my dear readers, are not submitting photos. Rather, you are voting for your favorites of my favorite 2022 growing season photos.

Why?

Because Nature is gorgeous. Because Nature is calming. Because these 12 curated photos are glimpses at ecology as manifested in shapes, colors, textures, and ways of being.

I’m in! What do I do?

Choose your favorite from Sun and Rain, and your favorite from Insects. Only one vote per category. “Favorite” is entirely up to you to define!

How to vote:

You can enter a reply at the bottom of the blog – or – send your votes via email. Just the letter and number of your favorites will suffice, though you are welcome to share what about them spoke to you, pulled at your soul and/or turned your eyes into heart shapes.

Voting will close at noon Central on Friday, September 30.

One more thing!

Everyone local who votes (I know who you are) will be entered in a drawing to receive a “last before the frost” bouquet. Details will be arranged with the winner. (Folks not-local, you are loved, but I cannot ship flowers to you, sorry.)
